Elephanta

Family storytelling

Out now.

A warm place for the stories that matter. Where grandparents tell, families ask, and every voice is worth keeping.

What is Elephanta?

A family journal, told in voice.

Elephanta gently prompts the people you love to share the stories behind their lives. The small kitchens, the long drives, the first apartments, the songs they still hum. Their words are kept safe for the whole family to hear, ask about, and pass on.

Prompts you might hear

“What did your mother’s kitchen smell like?” “Tell me about the house you grew up in.” “What song did your grandmother hum?” “Who taught you how to cook?” “Where were you when everything changed?”

In any language

Stories sound right in their tongue.

Elephanta supports any language they’re comfortable in. The prompts arrive in their words; the answers stay in their voice.

Common questions

A few things people ask.

Will it work for my grandparents if they’re not tech-savvy?

That’s exactly who we built it for. Elephanta sends one notification, one question, one tap to answer. No menus, no scrolling, no setup. If they can answer a phone call, they can answer a prompt.

Where do our stories live? Who can see them?

In a private family archive that only the members you’ve invited can open. No public profile, no shared feed, no one else. Ever.

Will you train AI on our voices or stories?

No. Not now, not ever. Your stories aren’t training data. They’re family. We’ve written this into our policy and into the code.

What if we don’t speak English at home?

Go right ahead. Elephanta works in any language your family is comfortable in, including switching between them. The prompts arrive in their words; the answers stay in their voice.

Can the whole family ask questions, or just one person?

The whole family. Every member you invite can send prompts and listen to the answers. Grandma can answer one question once, and thirty grandkids can hear the story.

Is it really free?

Yes. For every story, every device, with no limits and no paid tier.
